On Thursday, the boys’ varsity basketball team played against Haverford, winning 58-49.
Conestoga took an early lead, as sophomore Rowan Miller, sophomore Cory Hogan, senior Sean Mackey and senior Brendan Styer secured multiple points during the first quarter. The boys continued their momentum throughout the first half of the game, leading 27-20 by the start of halftime.
Haverford made a comeback in the third quarter, but ’Stoga maintained its lead throughout the fourth quarter, finishing with a 58-49.
The boys will play again against Ridley on Saturday, Jan. 27.
