On Thursday, Oct. 19, parents and students gathered in the atrium from 6-8 p.m. for the annual National Art Honor Society (NAHS) Induction Ceremony. NAHS provides opportunities for teachers and students who exhibit proficiency in both academics and art.

At the ceremony, attendees first walked around and looked at the various artworks on display in the atrium before getting seated for proceedings led by NAHS officers and sponsor Leanne Argonish.

Officers introduced themselves and gave short speeches about their experiences with art and NAHS. Members were then invited to come up and collect their certificate while a slideshow displaying their artwork played overhead. The ceremony concluded with students saying the NAHS pledge, and attendees again walked through the art gallery and enjoyed refreshments before leaving.
