On May 29, tea artist and scholar Bin Wu brought tea supplies to Conestoga and taught members of the Asian Student Alliance (ASA) how to pour and receive tea following traditional Japanese tea ceremony etiquette.

Tee time: Lining up his shot, senior Ryan Ding prepares to tee off at roughly 200 yards from the hole at Turtle Creek Golf Course. Ding took about 130 strokes over 16 holes. With some hard work and practice, he hopes to beat his best score and complete a course in under 100 strokes, a milestone for experienced golfers.

Worthy winner: Freshman Walker Martin wins his last match in a bracket of 64 wrestlers to win the 52kg 15U Greco-Roman wrestling U.S. Open Championship. His first-place finish qualified him to represent the United States for the Pan American Games hosted in Mexico City, Mexico from July 23–26.

First of the fields: Student athletes join district officials to open the first field of the Athletic Fields Project. The ribbon-cutting ceremony occurred on Sept. 24 and the field hockey team practiced on the turf after.

Closed café: Cup of Dreams in the Paoli Village Shoppes, with an inviting storefront and outdoor seating, is no longer open. On Feb. 28, the popular coffee shop closed after its lease expired. Cup of Dreams owner Jian Zhou hopes to begin renovations this summer at a new location.
