Girls soccer dominates 6-0 in district semifinals, advances to finals

On Tuesday, the girls’ varsity soccer team defeated Council Rock South 6-0 in the semifinals of the PIAA District 1 4A Girls Soccer Championship, securing a spot in the district finals.

In the first half, ’Stoga took a quick 4-0 lead, with two goals by sophomore Lauren Grimes, one goal by sophomore Kate Kemmerley and one goal by senior Nia Alleyne. In the second half, the girls continued dominating with Kemmerley scoring two more goals, and they ended the game with a 6-0 score.

The girls advance to the district finals on Saturday, Nov. 4.
