Passionate pink: Volleyball secures 3-1 win against North Penn

The girls’ varsity volleyball team played against North Penn on Thursday, winning 3-1. It was the girls’ Dig Pink match, an annual event during which the team raises funds for breast cancer research.

Starting out the match, Conestoga maintained an early lead against North Penn but ultimately lost the first set 25-20. In the second set, North Penn kept it close, but the Pioneers won 25-23. In the third set, ’Stoga established a strong lead near the end of the set, winning 25-20. They maintained this momentum, winning the fourth set with a dominant 25-16 win and claiming the match 3-1.

The girls will play their next match against Upper Darby on Monday, Oct. 9.
