On Monday, Oct. 2, the girls’ varsity volleyball team took on Garnet Valley and lost 3-1.
The first point for ’Stoga was scored by junior Liana Wright in the first set. Garnet Valley took an early lead, and Conestoga lost the set with a close score of 25-20. The girls bounced back in the second set, winning 27-25 with many saves by senior Zeynep Dogan and junior Skylar McKnight. However, the Pioneers fell short in the third set with a score of 25-16. They had a considerable lead in the beginning of the fourth set but lost the set, losing the match with a final score of 3-1.
The girls play again against Penncrest on Wednesday, Oct. 4.
