Proud Pink Out: Boys soccer beats Marple Newtown 6-0

On Tuesday, the boys’ soccer team defeated Marple Newtown 6-0 at its Pink Out game.

The game started with goals from seniors Ryan Zellefrow, Michael Haley and Kole Wintersteen and junior Cole Frederick, bringing the score up to 4-0 by halftime.

The boys kept the ball in their possession in the second half. Freshman Justin Maxwell and senior Charlie Culbert both scored in the last 10 minutes of the game.

The boys will play their next game against Strath Haven on Thursday, Sept. 7.

Outside of the newsroom, she is a member of the Conestoga girls’ squash team and is a PAL for Conestoga's Peer Mediation. You can find her reading a book or eating sushi in her spare time.
