On Tuesday, the boys’ tennis team played a long game to defeat Unionville 5-2.

At first singles, junior Ethan Sun lost a match but played for the win, defeating his opponent 7-6, 7-5, 6-1. Sophomore Tristan Lubiniecki won his second singles match with a score of 6-4, 6-2. At third singles, sophomore Sean Fan fell short in the first set, recovered in the second and won the final set 2-6, 6-1, 6-4. 

At first doubles, seniors Leo Brown and Jake Tsang lost the first set, won the second set and missed the win in the third set 3-6, 6-7, 2-7. Juniors Mason Montello and Nick Lalwani lost their second doubles match 0-6, 0-6. Third doubles senior Will Connelly and junior Jake Duffy won 6-3, 7-5, and fourth doubles senior Jamie Schmitz and junior Dimitrije Markovic emerged victorious 6-2, 7-5.

The boys play their next match on Wednesday, April 22 against Harriton.
