On Nov. 5, ten bands from the local area met at Teamer Field in Cavalcade, including the Conestoga Marching Band. Starting at 5:15 PM, woodwinds, brass and percussion lined up to perform their respective roles. After they played, the marching bands were judged and given a score. For their James-Bond-themed, Conestoga received a rating of “Outstanding.” The final awards ceremony also included Hans van Mol, who presented an award to a marching band.
