The girls’ basketball team won a close game against Garnet Valley on Saturday.
At the beginning of the first quarter, Conestoga fell behind Garnet Valley with a score of 7-12. However, the girls quickly caught up in the second quarter. Entering halftime, Conestoga and Garnet Valley were tied 16-16. At the start of the third quarter, Conestoga and Garnet Valley extended their scores to 28-28.
Towards the conclusion of the fourth quarter, The Pioneers were able to gain an advantage over Garnet Valley and secure a triumphant win of 43-37.
The girls will play their next game on Tuesday, Feb. 2, against Haverford.
