On Wednesday, the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District held an open house event for the public to tour the future sixth elementary school site from 6:30-8 p.m. Earlier that day, TESD invited all district staff to explore the area as well.
At both events, attendees looked around the office building at 1200 West Swedesford Road, which the district plans to reuse as the new elementary school.
District administration and involved architects stood by to answer questions, and participants could read signs with draft conceptual design plans, including project timelines. Administration also placed QR codes around the entrance, which attendees used to see virtual designs of the finished school.
During the all-district staff event, members could survey furniture left by previous tenants of the building and request to have items sent to their respective school for future use.
TESD aims to open the school in fall 2027.
