Boys lacrosse defeats Wissahickon 8-3

On May 4, the boys’ lacrosse team beat Wissahickon 8-3. Both teams made saves early on in the game, but goals scored by seniors Adrien Grove and Clifton Hawkins allowed the team to pull away with a 4-0 lead. In the second quarter, the score remained 4-0 with both teams unable to score.

In the third quarter, goals by Hawkins and freshman Liam Donovan allowed the Pioneers to extend their lead to 6-1. Both teams scored two goals in the fourth quarter, leading to an 8-3 victory for Conestoga. 

The team will play its next game against Radnor on May 7.

Outside of the newsroom, she is a member of the Conestoga girls’ squash team and is a PAL for Conestoga's Peer Mediation. You can find her reading a book or eating sushi in her spare time.
