Girls soccer defeats Harriton 6-1

The girls’ varsity soccer team was victorious on Thursday, beating Harriton 6-1. 

Conestoga started strong with senior Chloe Brown and junior Keira Kemmerley scoring two goals respectively in the first half. Following halftime, Brown scored two more goals, completing a hat trick. Sophomore Kate Kemmerley and junior Margaux LePage each scored one goal, winning the game 6-1.

With the victory, the girls continue their season with a 14-1 record. They will play their next game against Downingtown East on Saturday, Oct. 14.

Abigail Bagby is a senior and the Co-Managing Editor of The Spoke. She has previously served as a Sports Editor and the T/E Life Editor. In addition to her work for The Spoke, she enjoys playing competitive squash, serving as captain of Conestoga's girls' squash team, as well as leading the school's Pillboxes for Patients club and engaging in the Annenberg Symposium. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering in her community, going to Eagles games and running with friends.
