On Friday afternoon, students made their way to Teamer Field for the annual pep rally. The Marching Pioneer Band opened the event with a performance of their halftime show followed by “The Star-Spangled Banner” sung by the Camerata choir.

Students watched as the cheer team performed their routine and seniors on sports teams made their grand entrance. Other activities included a field goal kick competition, relay race, flag football game and faculty pie eating contest.

As per tradition, Conestoga’s Student Council hosted the pep rally on the Friday before the annual homecoming dance, which will occur on Saturday, Sept. 23 this year.
