Boys soccer kicks off season opener with 5-0 win

The boys’ soccer team kicked off their first game of the season with a 5-0 win against Henderson High School.

The Pioneers led 2-0 by halftime with two goals by senior Kole Wintersteen. In the second half, goals scored by junior Zuwa Abhulimen and seniors Brady Costin and Zane Khalil brought the final score up to 5-0.

The boys play their next match against Marple Newtown High School on Tuesday, Sept. 5.
