Boys basketball falls short to Garnet Valley 41-50
Brief and Photos by George Zhang, Photography Editor
The Conestoga boys’ basketball team hosted its home opener against Garnet Valley High School on Thursday, Dec. 9. Conestoga opened up the game playing well, where strong ball movement led to open three-pointers, which the boys hit. They ended the first quarter 11-8, and extended that lead to 28-23 by halftime.
However, the boys slowed down in the second half, where they were notable to secure the glass well against Garnet Valley, leading to them giving up the lead in the third quarter and eventually losing the game 41-50. Their record is now 3-1.
