It was a summer night on June 28, 1969 when police raided the Stonewall Inn, a gay club in New York City. The raid sparked demands for equal rights from members of the LGBTQ+ community, and June now stands as a time to commemorate those who have fought for LGBTQ+ rights and to celebrate minority sexual and gender orientations. Junior Camden Hadjiliadis, president of the Gender/Sexuality Alliance (GSA) at Conestoga, finds Pride month to be a time for everyone, including people both within and outside of the LGBTQ+ community.
