Adventures in Wonderland: Folio hosts Inkwell to celebrate its winter issue
Brief and Photos by Abby Chong, Staff Reporter, and Aren Framil, Co-Design Editor
On Saturday Feb. 4, Conestoga’s literary magazine, the Folio, hosted their annual “Inkwell” issue release party at the Tredyffrin Library from 6-8 p.m. The celebration, Folio’s first since 2020, had an Alice in Wonderland theme and included drinks, food and dessert for all attendees. Live music was played throughout the night by Conestoga students who had signed up prior to the event. Entertainment included a banjo performance, an original piece played on the melodica — a piano-flute hybrid — a rendition of “Stacy’s Mom” accompanied by acoustic guitar and many other vocal and instrumental acts.
Folio sold merchandise along with copies of the winter Folio, which contains poems, short stories and artwork created by members of the Folio and other Conestoga students. The winter Folio, along with past issues, is available online on the Folio’s website, and hard copies can be purchased in room 2013.
