For the seventh year in a row, Conestoga students joined thousands of concert-goers to hear some of the biggest names in music at the Made in America Festival.

Held in the Ben Franklin Parkway, the lineup included the likes of Nicki Minaj, Post Malone, and Kendrick Lamar. ‘Stoga students flocked to the Berwyn Train Station the mornings of Sept. 1 and Sept 2 to attend the event, marking the final festival for many seniors, including Katie Morrison.

“It was my last but definitely favorite year of Made in America. All the performers were so good and I had so much fun with all of my friends,” Morrison said.

Not only was this an opportunity for students to listen to their music idols, but it also provided a unique chance for socializing.

“I loved the atmosphere this year,” sophomore Lulu Coll said. “Not only did you get to see many friends from Conestoga, but you got to interact with people from all walks of life.”

Despite the realization that summer is coming to a close, students can look forward to the event returning to the Parkway Labor Day weekend of 2019.
