On Friday, the boys’ football team lost to Marple Newtown 49-7.
During the first quarter, Marple Newtown pulled ahead, scoring three touchdowns and bringing the score up to 21-0 going into the second quarter.
Marple Newtown continued its dominance, leading 42-0 by the end of the second quarter.
After halftime, Marple Newtown scored another touchdown, ending the quarter 49-0. During the fourth quarter, the Pioneers scored one touchdown, ending the game with a final score of 49-7.
The boys play their final game of the season on Friday, Oct. 24 at Haverford.
