On Friday, the girls’ volleyball team defeated Upper Darby 3-0.
Throughout the first set, ’Stoga maintained a strong lead, winning 25-7. Launching into the second set, the Pioneers faltered, getting off to a rocky start. However, the girls managed to bridge the gap in a very close game. Towards the end of the set, ’Stoga gained an advantage, finishing 25-18.
The girls began a strong start in the third set, claiming the first 15 points of the set. Maintaining a steady lead, the girls secured their victory during the third set, scoring 25-3 against Upper Darby.
The girls play their next away game on Monday, Oct. 6 against Lower Merion.
