On Friday, students poured into Teamer Field for the annual pep rally to kick off homecoming weekend. The pep rally began with the marching band performing its “Oz”-themed show.
Students from each grade participated in various games, such as the field goal kicking contest and a relay race, to earn points for their grade. Fall sports team captains played in a game of musical chairs, with girls’ volleyball captain Leighton Hornaday winning. Teachers also played in several games, including tug-of-war, a pie-eating contest and a mascot race.
After, student council revealed the members of the Homecoming Court, consisting of seniors Leo Brown, Lexi Lenehan, Emily Todd, Steven Wiechecki, Arni Kende, Charlotte Garcia, Shane Harley, Dez Fritz and Jonathan Lee.
