On Monday, the girls’ volleyball team played against Haverford, losing 2-3. The score was tied through most of the first set, but Haverford gained a slight lead, winning 26-24. The second set kicked off with Haverford in the lead, but ’Stoga made a strong comeback and won the second and third sets 25-17. An ace from freshman Julia Long helped ’Stoga win their third set. Haverford took the fourth and fifth sets to finish the game.
The girls’ next home game is on Saturday, Sept. 20 against Downingtown West.
