On Saturday night, the juniors attended their prom at the Sheraton Hotel. The prom’s theme was “Starry Night.” Blue lights illuminated the room and music blasted as students danced.
Attendees socialized while they ate dinner at a buffet, which served food such as mac and cheese, chicken tenders, various vegetables and bread. Drink stations were also set up around the ballroom.
After eating, people flocked to the dance floor, grooving to classics and rap songs. Bright lights flickered as the DJ played different songs, including “Cotton Eye Joe” and “FE!N”. Some attendees took pictures at the photo booth to commemorate the evening and wore accessories such as large sunglasses, cowboy hats and crowns.
“I love the photo booth and I love the vibes here, it’s so fun,” prom attendee Anvi Kolee said.
