On Thursday, the girls’ lacrosse team lost to Radnor 6-7. Conestoga started the first quarter off strong with a goal by junior Carolyn Jones.
Despite sophomore Lucia Misener coming down with an injury early in the game, Conestoga was up 2-1 by the end of the first half due to another goal by Jones. Radnor scored twice during the second quarter, tying 3-3 at halftime.
During the third quarter, Radnor pushed the score to 4-7. Conestoga recovered in the last quarter with goals from freshmans Brooke Bickel and Price Orcutt, bringing the score to 6-7. Conestoga gained possession during the last 30 seconds of the game but were unable to score, taking a close loss 6-7 against Radnor.
The girls will play their next game on May 3 against Archbishop John Carroll.
