On Tuesday, Jan. 28, Conestoga’s Asian Student Alliance (ASA) club hosted its annual potluck in Conestoga’s cafeteria to celebrate the 2025 Lunar New Year. The potluck included an assortment of Asian dishes, live performances and themed decorations to celebrate Asian culture.
Lanterns, balloons and confetti adorned the tables, ceiling and walls, adding to the festive atmosphere, and the tables were covered in red and gold cloth. ASA club members designed posters by hand, which were hung up around the cafeteria.
Attendees brought a variety of Asian dishes to the potluck, including lo mein, dumplings, tteokbokki, spring rolls, fried rice and East Asian snacks.
Entertainment included K-pop dances, karaoke, instrumental performances, a recorder performance and a speech to acknowledge the relocation of the new 76ers stadium from Chinatown.
