The boys’ basketball team defeated Harriton 69-44 on Tuesday.
Junior Rowan Miller scored the first few points of the game, starting Conestoga off strong. The boys kept their lead throughout the game, with senior Ben Robinson scoring a three-pointer to help them get ahead. The first quarter ended with the Pioneers leading 16-11.
In the second quarter, sophomore Sunny Tummala scored a three-pointer with an assist from junior Cory Hogan. After halftime, the boys widened their lead, closing off the third quarter up 56-32. The Pioneers ultimately won the game 69-44, beating Harriton by 25 points and snapping a two-game losing streak.
The boys play Penn Wood High School next on Saturday, Jan. 18 and are currently 6-2 in the Central League.
