On Tuesday, the girls’ basketball team won 60-21 against Ridley at their whiteout game.
After an initial point scored by Ridley, ’Stoga quickly took an early lead as junior Ryann Jennings scored consecutive points. The first quarter ended 24-5, with a final field goal from sophomore Natalie Garzio. The girls continued scoring throughout the second quarter, entering halftime 36-9.
Ridley scored the first point entering the second half, but the Pioneers maintained their lead throughout the third quarter, ending 49-19. The girls dominated in the last quarter, scoring five field goals in a row and finishing the game with a final score of 60-21.
The girls will play their next game against Lower Merion on Thursday, December 12.
