On Tuesday, the field hockey team faced Radnor and won 6-0, bringing its record to 13-1.
Conestoga started the first quarter strong with a 3-0 lead. In the second quarter, sophomore Maia Asselta and senior Hannah Simon each scored a goal, giving the Pioneers a 5-0 lead at halftime.
In the third quarter, both teams fought for possession, but neither scored a goal. In the fourth quarter, ’Stoga scored one final goal with 5 minutes remaining by junior Emily Todd, ending the game 6-0.
The girls play their last game of the regular season away against Marple Newtown on Oct. 15.
