On Saturday, the field hockey team beat Episcopal Academy 3-2 on Teamer Field.
Sophomore Peyton Esposito scored early in the first quarter for Conestoga, but Episcopal tied the score 1-1 late in the quarter. In the second quarter, Episcopal scored again to take a 2-1 lead before halftime.
Conestoga tied the game in the third quarter before taking a 3-2 lead early in the fourth quarter. The girls kept up the pressure throughout the rest of the game and held on to win 3-2.
With the win, the team improves its overall record to 12-1. The girls play their next game against Radnor on Tuesday, Oct. 8.
