On Tuesday, the girls’ field hockey won over Lower Merion, winning 9-0. Senior Shae Wozniak set the tone for the game with two goals in the beginning of the first quarter. Following this, seniors Hannah Simon and Grace DeVuono and sophomore Peyton Esposito each scored a goal, bringing the score to 5-0 at the end of the first quarter.
In the second quarter, the girls maintained their strong lead, with junior Emily Todd and Simon scoring goals. The halftime score was 7-0.
Junior Aubrey Delorefice scored a goal in the third quarter, and senior Lexi Patterson scored the final goal of the game in the last quarter, solidifying the girls’ dominant win with a score of 9-0.
The girls play their next home game against Harriton on Oct. 1.
