Music floats through the air as students decked out in painted jeans, coffee cups in hand, pose for pictures. Camera shutters click while laughter drifts from groups playing cornhole.
On Friday, members of the Class of 2025 gathered in the main parking lot before school to celebrate senior sunrise. The tradition involves seniors decorating a pair of jeans with paint and symbols representing their favorite memories from their years at ’Stoga while watching the sunrise.
Seniors Elisha McCabe, Lucia Wang and Talia Metz-Topodas won Most Creative, Most Spirited and Best Overall, respectively.
