Football takes tough loss to Ridley 42-7

On Friday night, the football team lost to Ridley 42-7.

Ridley scored two touchdowns in the first quarter, giving them a 14-0 lead. ’Stoga responded, scoring a touchdown right after in the second quarter, bringing the score to 14-7. Ridley scored another touchdown in the second quarter, bringing the score to 21-7 by halftime.

In the third quarter, Ridley scored two touchdowns in the first five minutes, bringing the score to 35-7. In the fourth quarter, Ridley scored one more touchdown, ending the game 42-7.

The Pioneers will play their next game on Friday, Sept. 20 against Harriton.
