The girls’ volleyball team lost 3-1 to Strath Haven on Wednesday.
In the first set, ’Stoga started with a slight lead before Strath Haven pulled ahead to win 25-18. In the second set, the girls focused on their defense and made a strong comeback from the first set, winning 25-22. The score was tied throughout most of the third set, with the Pioneers falling short at the end as Strath Haven took the set 25-23. Finally, ’Stoga took a tough loss in the fourth set with a score of 25-13, ultimately giving Strath Haven the win.
The girls’ next home game is on Wednesday, Sept. 18 against Ridley.
