On Saturday, the girls’ soccer team won 2-1 against Downingtown West on Teamer Field.
Senior Keira Kemmerley scored the only goal of the first half. The girls utilized a strong defense to end the half with a 1-0 lead.
Downingtown West responded in the first five minutes of the second half with a goal, tying the game 1-1. Both teams played intensely for the rest of the half until Kemmerley scored her second goal within the last twelve minutes. Conestoga closed out the game and won 2-1.
The girls will play their next game on Thursday, Sept. 12 against Garnet Valley.
