On Friday, the field hockey team lost to Notre Dame with a score of 3-2.
Conestoga started off strong when sophomore Peyton Esposito scored a goal in the first ten minutes. In the second quarter, Notre Dame closed the gap by scoring two goals, securing a lead of 2-1.
In the third quarter, senior Shae Wozniak scored a goal and brought the game to a tie. In the fourth quarter, neither team managed to score a goal, leading to overtime. Within five minutes, Notre Dame scored a goal to take the win 3-2.
The girls play their next game at home against Ridley on Tuesday, Sept. 10 at Teamer Field.
