The girls’ soccer team secured a 5-0 victory over Downingtown East on Tuesday during its first game of the season.
Junior Kate Kemmerley began the scoring for ’Stoga in the first half, and the team maintained the 1-0 lead until halftime. In the second half, senior Amelie Stewart extended the lead to 2-0. Minutes later, junior Maddie Fox followed with another goal, bringing ’Stoga’s lead to 3-0. Junior Lauren Grimes and senior Isabelle Allred each scored one goal to secure a 5-0 win.
The girls’ next game will be on Thursday, Aug. 29 against Great Valley.
