On Monday, the baseball team played its last game of the regular season, falling short to Haverford 8-2.
Haverford took an early lead, scoring three runs in the first inning. During the second inning, the Pioneers responded by scoring their first run.
Haverford pulled away with the lead, scoring two runs in the following inning and boasting a strong defense. It secured an 8-1 lead by the end of the sixth inning.
The Pioneers broke the streak with a run during the seventh inning but were unable to make a comeback, taking an 8-2 loss.
The boys end the regular season with a Central League record of 6-10.
