Baseball falls short to Garnet Valley 4-3

Baseball+falls+short+to+Garnet+Valley+4-3

On Wednesday, the baseball team lost to Garnet Valley 4-3, bringing its record to 7-9. Garnet Valley scored two runs in the first inning. In the second inning, the Pioneers scored a run and played well while Garnet Valley was batting, not allowing any runs. 

Neither team scored again until the sixth inning, when Garnet Valley scored a run. Garnet Valley scored another run in the seventh inning. ’Stoga quickly followed up with another run in the seventh, but the team was unable to fully close the gap and lost 4-3.

The team will play Haverford next on Monday, May 13.
