On Thursday, the softball team won against Lower Merion 16-0.
’Stoga dominated early, taking a 13-0 lead by the end of the first inning. Seniors Ruijia Yang and Marisa Francione continued the team’s success in the second inning. When the girls brought the score to 16-0 by the middle of the third inning, the game ended according to the Coastal Athletic Association’s mercy rule of 15 runs. Conestoga’s 16-0 win brings its record to 12-1.
The team’s next game will be on Monday, May 6 against Ridley.
