On Monday, the boys’ varsity tennis team defeated Garnet Valley 7-0.
In the singles matches, freshman Ethan Sun defeated his opponent 6-4, 6-4. Junior Rohan Rao won 6-2, 2-6, 6-4 and senior Voyin Markovic secured the last singles match with a score of 6-4, 6-3.
The Pioneers continued their lead over the Jaguars in doubles. Partners senior Basil Lubiniecki and Francis Qin won 6-4, 6-3, followed by partners senior Derek Qin and junior Raphie Lubiniecki closing out the day with a 7-6 (1), 6-2 win.
The boys will play their next match away on Tuesday, April 9 against Lower Merion.
