Students defeat teachers in Faculty vs. Seniors basketball game

By Ashley Du and Benjamin Wang, Staff Reporters

On Thursday, the senior members of the Student Council hosted a Faculty vs. Seniors basketball game to benefit the senior class. Both teams played well, but the students won 39-32 in the end.

At the game, attendees could buy senior T-shirts and small snacks.

The students’ offense dominated in the first quarter, leading with a score of 17-6. The teachers kept their guard up but ended the second quarter down 26-15.

During the third quarter, the teachers improved their offense. The students maintained their momentum, leading 36-26 at the end.

Between the third and fourth quarters, senior Timmy Swift performed a show, lip-syncing to Taylor Swift.

Following the performance, the teachers started making a comeback. They ultimately fell short during the final quarter, losing 39-32 to the seniors.
