The girls’ varsity basketball team played against Upper Darby on Tuesday, winning 66-32.
As the game started, the girls immediately began scoring and gained an early lead. Their strong defense and fast-paced offense led them to a score of 18-10 at the end of the first quarter. Continuing their momentum, Conestoga widened the score gap between Upper Darby, ending the first half 34-13.
During the third quarter, the team dominated the court as Upper Darby attempted to recover. Scoring points and keeping their previous momentum going, the Pioneers secured a lead of 49-27 at the end of the third quarter.
With a strategic defense and commanding offense, their high-intensity gameplay continued until the last buzzer, finishing the game with a score of 66-32.
They play against Garnet Valley next on Thursday, Dec. 21.
