The boys’ varsity ice hockey team faced off against Garnet Valley on Friday, falling short 4-2.
’Stoga started off strong, scoring the first goal within the first two minutes of the game. The boys scored another goal with two minutes left on the clock and kept up their lead into the second period.
Garnet Valley scored its first goal almost halfway into the second period. Both goalies defended well, and the period ended with Conestoga up 2-1.
About seven minutes into the third period, Garnet Valley scored again and tied the game. The team scored two more times, securing a 4-2 win and beating the Pioneers.
The boys will play again against Lower Merion on Monday, Feb. 5.
