On Friday, the girls’ varsity ice hockey team sweeped Pennridge 8-0.
The Pioneers started off strong with junior Sofia Kaiser scoring a hat trick and a goal by senior Eliana Schiff, ending the first period up 4-0. In the next period, ’Stoga furthered its lead as Kaiser and junior Darcy Malik scored two goals, respectively.
The girls continued to maintain their control over Pennridge, closing out with senior Monica LaTorraca and freshman Kendall Elsasser scoring one goal each. In the end, ’Stoga secured an 8-0 win over Pennridge.
The girls will play their next game against West Chester Henderson on Friday, Feb. 2.
