On Friday, the girls’ varsity ice hockey team swept West Chester East 10-0 while celebrating Senior Night.
The team honored its 10 senior players: Lily Choe, Lily Jiang, Monica LaTorraca, Giada Liberato, Karen Liu, Abbie Pancoast, Vanessa Rapushi, Eliana Schiff, Isabella Thompson and Lauren Yucha.
The game started out with junior Darcy Malik scoring two goals, giving ’Stoga a strong lead. ’Stoga continued dominating with one goal each by junior Sofia Kaiser, LaTorraca, freshman Taylor Graves and Liberato.
The girls entered the second period up 6-0, and no goals were scored during the period. However, the team finished off the game strong with four goals by Pancoast, Malik, Graves and Liberato.
The girls play their next game against Downingtown West on Sunday, Jan. 21.
