The girls’ varsity ice hockey team beat West Chester Henderson 6-2 on Friday.
In the first period, West Chester Henderson scored the first goal of the game. ’Stoga followed with a strong comeback as junior Darcy Malik scored a goal. In the following period, Malik scored two more, and the team entered the third period up 3-1.
Early in the period, West Chester Henderson scored. However, due to the team’s strong defense and with Malik, senior Eliana Schiff and junior Sofia Kaiser each scoring a goal, the girls secured a final score of 6-2.
They play their next game on Thursday, Dec. 21 against Lower Merion.
