The girls’ varsity basketball team played Haverford on Thursday, emerging victorious 47-38 in its white-out themed game.
’Stoga fell behind in the beginning, ending the first quarter down 15-9. The Pioneers began to catch up to Haverford, ending the following quarter with a 3-pointer and score of 24-21.
The girls’ relentless offense finally prevailed during the third quarter, tying the score at 30-30. They maintained their offensive momentum in the fourth quarter, ultimately winning the game 47-38.
The girls will play against Ridley on Tuesday, Dec. 12.
