On Thursday, the girls’ volleyball team fell short to Cardinal O’Hara 3-2 in a close match.
Cardinal O’Hara maintained a steady lead throughout the first set, winning 25-16 against the Pioneers. ’Stoga made a strong comeback as the second set progressed, securing a 25-18 win.
By the end of the third set, Cardinal O’Hara once again maintained a significant lead, ending the set 25-12. The fourth set was a crucial win for ’Stoga, who started down 3-8 but ended up making an impressive return and won the set 25-22.
The fifth and final set was neck-and-neck between the two schools, but Conestoga ultimately lost the set 15-12, resulting in a final score of 3-2.
The girls end their regular season with an overall record of 11-9.
