The girls’ varsity field hockey team beat Springfield 10-0 on Thursday during Senior Night, an evening dedicated to celebrating the seniors of the team. Seniors Bria Brennan, Addie DelOrefice, Charlotte Holzapfel, Keating Hopkins, Alex Lepore, Ava Lofgren, Emma Nikolic, Sophia Pechin and Ava Wells all walked across the field with their families and teammates to honor their final season.
During the game, junior Shae Wozniak dominated, scoring four goals in total, with Lofgren scoring two goals. DelOrefice, Pechin, junior Hannah Simon and freshman Peyton Esposito each scored one goal as well, bringing the final score to 10-0.
The girls will play their next game against Episcopal Academy on Saturday, Oct. 7.
